Citizens of Clart Staleonship were barely safe for four months when a second broadcast interruption occurred.
On Halloween night of 2003, when some late-night horror showcases went to commercial, a children's toy commercial was RUDELY cut short by what at first appeared to be only a creepy glitch. But it would soon become clear that it was more than it seemed....
An EMS (Emergency Alert System) alarm suddenly began to blare out of the two thousand televisions in Clart Staleonship - many X-FORUMS users who are also citizens of the Staleonship claiming that even televisions which were turned off before the incident had turned on to blast the alarm! But maybe just as weird as the idea of TVs that turn themselves on was the message being broadcast. The EMS alert claimed to originate from the National Reality Service, an alleged government service alongside the likes of the National Weather service, but which doesn't exist in any public United Provinces government records. This so called "National Anomaly Service" gave an indecipherable, garbled message, issuing a "DS-SHIFT-2323 Warning", which X-FORUMS users and curious Staleonship citizens still try to decipher with little luck.
While some claim to have seen the EMS alert provide a warning for all 23 counties in the province, many of these are accepted by the theoriests here at TAMEL TRUTH to be "my cousin's friend has a friend who saw..."-type stories. Most eyewitnesses agree that the message only gave a warning for two Tamel counties: Loquacious County, and St. Squart County - the quaint county which Clart Staleonship calls its home!
But the warning began to glitch not long into the announcement, and abruptly cut off shortly after. This gave way to a creepy scene - what looked like footage from a very broken VHS tape, with distorted audio. A sickening crashing noise like a car accident played, before what seemed like a distorted and deepened male voice began to speak. Some very creepy reversed music began to play soon after, and numbers appeared on the screen:
This message showed over distorted, glitchy imagery which is difficult to make out as any meaningful object. A few human-like faces seem to appear in the darkness, but there is no identifying the people shown. More messages would repeat over this disturbing video:
And then, flashing over the video like some kind of creepy SOS signal, the last message showed.
The visuals cut off just as suddenly as they appeared, returning to the commercials as if it were a normal Halloween. Nothing like it has been seen since, to our knowledge.
